Lisa led a hike from Argyl through Millcreek ravine to Kinsmen. We started out looking for the paved trail as our usual path was iced over. Along the busy path we passed a larger group from the Edmonton Outdoor Club and there were two Waskahegans turncoats amongst them! We started out with 13 hikers and then lost 3 who wanted a shorter route by lunching at the Mutart. Instead they added on distance, as they were so busy talking, no one was looking where they were going. As the remaining 10 pushed on to Kinsmen, we were hailed by Anita who had been lost in time (day light savings time) and was looking for us. We did about 15km on a gorgeous day with 14 hikers returning. Have some photos from this event that you'd like to share in our photo album? Please forward them to Vacant at information@waskahegantrail.ca. Please note that we prefer to receive the photos in approximately 640x480 or 750x500 pixels - do NOT send original high-res photos. If you have a LOT of photos, please submit up to twenty of your favorites (only) for a day event, or up to forty of your favourites for a multi-day event. Thank you. |
